Serious Crash In Candia Injures 3 People, One Flown To Boston
A head-on collision involving a pickup truck and minivan at Main Street and Raymond Road required multiple fire and ambulance crews.
CANDIA, NH — Candia police, fire, and multiple surrounding towns responded mutual aid to the scene of a two-vehicle head-on crash on Thursday.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Raymond Road. First arriving units at about 12:30 p.m. found a truck and mini-van had collided and reported 3 people were injured.
Some of the occupants were heavily entrapped in the vehicle, and crews from three towns used the jaws of life to extricate the occupants.

A medical helicopter was requested, and a landing zone was set up so that DHART medical helicopter could land nearby.
After nearly an hour the patients were extricated from the vehicle. Two of the victims of the accident were transported by ambulance to the hospital. One person was transported by DHART to Mass. General Hospital.
