EXETER, NH — A woman from Stratham was arrested on Monday, accused of driving under the influence after a crash on Newfields Road.
Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a report of a car crash around 12:30 a.m. Officers found the car — a 2014 Ford Focus on its side, off the road, with a woman inside.
“The vehicle, believed to have been traveling south, had struck a tree and a large boulder,” Chief Stephan Poulin of the Exeter Police Department said. “Officers investigating the accident determined that there was probable cause to arrest the driver of the vehicle for DUI.”
