Alleged Hampton Gun Trafficker Faces New Drug Charges
A local man allegedly caught selling thousands of dollars in semi-automatic weapons overseas has been arrested again.

The owner of a trucking company facing three federal firearms trafficking offenses after selling semi-automatic weapons to undercover officers was arrested recently on a new set of drug charges.
Matthew Crisafi, 38, of Hampton, was arrested at the Hampton police station on Nov. 18 on a warrant for one count of possession of controlled or narcotic drugs and one count of possession of controlled drugs, according to police.
The arrest came less than two weeks after Crisafi was charged by the federal government after he was allegedly caught selling $11,000 worth of semi-automatic handguns and rifles through a black market website.
Crisafi allegedly made several claims and promises to police during the conversations through the website, "Black Market Reloaded," including a claim that "the possibilities are endless once" they "do enough business" with him.
Numerous agencies were involved with the lengthy investigation, including the Hampton Police Department.
Crisafi waived his preliminary hearing in federal court on the trafficking charges, and he was reportedly transferred to New Jersey after his Nov. 7 arrest on those charges.
