Beach Bar Slapped with Liquor Violation; Hearing Coming
Over-serving a patron could prompt fines for a Hampton Beach establishment.

Millie's Tavern on L Street will soon go before a New Hampshire Liquor Commission Division of Enforcement hearing after being issued a liquor violation for over-serving an individual last summer.
Millie's allegedly "served or sold an alcoholic beverage to an individual who was visibly intoxicated or who a reasonable and prudent person would know is intoxicated" on May 4, 2012, according to the violation.
The hearing on the violation — covered under RSA 179:5, I — has been rescheduled multiple times. The most recent date for the hearing was Tuesday, although minutes from the meeting indicate the commission didn't have a quorum, and therefore couldn't proceed.
