Beach, Businesses Hit by Slew of Thefts

Police are investigating a string of crimes that were reported around the same time at local businesses, a home and a church.

The following entries are excerpts from arrest and call logs supplied by the Hampton Police Department. The information does not indicate a conviction.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 5

  • 3:23 p.m.: James Clark, of Seabrook, was charged with reckless conduct (placing another in danger) after an incident at a home on Lafayette Road.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

  • 12:55 p.m.: Patrick M. Murphy, 31, of Exeter, was placed into protective custody and charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at Best Western.
  • 6:51 p.m.: Joanna M. Tivnan, 44, of Worcester, Mass., was arrested for conduct after an accident following a hit-and-run accident near 196 Island Path.
  • 9:26 p.m.: Patrick Blais, 55, of Shirley, Mass., was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and possession of a controlled drug following a traffic stop near 144 Ashworth Ave.
  • 9:29 p.m.: David Hinkley, 51, of Quincy, Mass., was placed into protective custody near Ocean Boulevard and E Street.

SUNDAY, APRIL 7

  • 12:47 p.m.: Anna May M. Russo, 24, of Hampton, was arrested on a bench warrant.
  • 3:28 p.m.: Damian Dobson, 22, of Newbury, Mass., was issued a warning for driving after revocation or suspension.
  • 7:13 p.m.: Donald H. Brown III, 24, of Hampton, was arrested on a warrant for conduct after an accident. Brown was also arrested on March 31 for aggravated driving while intoxicated and false report on an accident.

MONDAY, APRIL 8

  • 12:26 a.m.: Heather Ames, 25, of Amesbury, Mass., was charged with driving after revocation or suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled drug following a traffic stop near the intersection of Lafayette and Winnacunnet roads.
  • 2 a.m.: Ronald D. Koney, 44, of Hampton, was arrested for violating a protective order on M Street.
  • 8:20 a.m.: A hit-and-run accident was investigated at KB's Bagels.
  • 7:06 p.m.: Matthew Dixon, 29, of Kittery, Maine, was arrested on a warrant for conduct after an accident and charged with failure to obey inspection requirements, littering and negligent driving.

TUESDAY, APRIL 9

  • 11:06 a.m.: Anna May M. Russo, 24, of Hampton, was arrested on a warrant.
  • 12:10 p.m.: Theft investigated at First Congregational Church.
  • 2:36 p.m.: Theft investigated at the Sea Spray Condominiums.
  • 3:13 p.m.: Theft investigated at 5 5th Street.
  • 10:16 p.m.: Theft investigated at Ron Jillian's.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10

  • 8:52 a.m.: Theft investigated at McGuirk's Ocean View.
  • 2:20 p.m.: Police rendered assistance in an assault on Brown Avenue.
  • 3:44 p.m.: Warning issued for public indecency on Highland Avenue.
  • 6:22 p.m.: Fraud investigated at 28 Thornton St.
