Submitted by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation: The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge repairs are scheduled to begin April 1 on the NH Route 101 bridge over Drakeside Road in Hampton. This bridge deck repair work will require a traffic pattern change for approximately two months. Route 101 westbound traffic will have one 12-foot wide travel lane over the bridge. Eastbound traffic on NH 101 will also have one 12-foot lane over the bridge, then exit on US 1 southbound for a short signed detour. This work is expected to be completed by May 23, 2014.
