Easter Fun Comes to Hampton, North Hampton

Looking for some fun during Easter weekend? Two egg hunts and much more are on tap in Hampton and North Hampton.

Looking for something fun to do on the Seacoast this Easter weekend? Here are some ideas (and be sure to tell us about the things you did and show us the pictures you took by e-mailing Editor Kyle Stucker at Kyle.Stucker@Patch.com):

1. Hunt for Golden Eggs in the Sands of Hampton Beach: The Hampton Beach Easter Egg Dig, featuring thousands of colorful, prize-filled eggs, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30. Children 12 and under can search for the eggs for free, although participants should bring pails and shovels, as well as dress accordingly due to the cool early spring weather.

Voters will need to present a valid ID in order to cast a ballot. Friday's voting will be followed by the annual beach meeting, during which the budget for the upcoming year will be set. Click here for the warrant and details on the budget and candidates.

5. Welcome Home Some of New Hampshire's Heroes: Saturday, March 30, is the day for Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day. The ceremony starts at 2 p.m., and officials are hoping Granite State residents will get involved.
