Change Sweeps Through Two Hampton Businesses

Patrons of downtown Hampton could see some new faces the next time they visit the area, as two different establishments recently changed hands.

O'Leary's Grill on Lafayette Road has been sold to the previous owner's nephew, Scott Logan, who has renamed it Logan’s Run Restaurant. Logan has been involved in the business for a number of years, according to the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Seacoast Florist, located in Depot Square, also has changed owners. Maria Moriarty, a North Chelmsford, Mass., native, recently moved to Hampton and purchased the popular flower shop. Cindy Willis, the previous owner of the longstanding store, told the chamber that she was proud to sell the business to Moriarty because of the latter's extensive background, her personality, and her talent.
