New Fire Stations' Construction Progressing

The new Hampton Beach station and the addition to the Winnacunnet Road station are coming along.

Crews have been hard at work in recent months on both the new fire station at Hampton Beach and the Winnacunnet Road station addition, which will house a new command headquarters as well as add additional equipment bays.

The above photos showcase some of the work completed thus far, from foundation work on the beach station to the full enclosure of the uptown addition.

Work on each station began back in late fall 2012. Both stations are on track to be completed within their respective construction schedules, which call for completion by late August.

The $5.7 million bond for the fire station reconstruction and renovation project was approved at the 2012 town meeting.
