A Hampton woman has been indicted for stealing from Home Depot in addition to charges for stealing jewelry from an area resident and drug possession.
Shelley Falconer, 46, of 869 Lafayette Road, Apt. 219, was indicted this month by a Rockingham Superior Court grand jury on theft by unauthorized taking, receiving stolen property, possession of heroin and possession of oxycodone charges.
The theft by authorized taking indictment comes after Falconer, who previously has been convicted of theft by deception in Seabrook District Court in August 2012, allegedly left the Plaistow Home Depot on July 15 without paying for merchandise within the store.
The other charges are connected to an arrest in Seabrook on June 23. Falconer was allegedly caught with undisclosed amounts of heroin and oxycodone, and during the booking process Falconer was allegedly caught wearing stolen jewelry belonging to a Susanna MacPherson, according to the indictments.
The receiving stolen property charge states the value of the jewelry is over $1,000.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or conviction; rather, it means a grand jury believed there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
