Please participate in the NH Coastal Scenic Byway - Community Resident Survey 2013
As your rep to the committee to update the plan for the Coastal Scenic Byway, running from Portsmouth to Seabrook and west past Rte 95, I urge you to complete this survey as an excellent way to make your voice heard about issues concerning the look, traffic patterns, tourism issues and many more important aspects of life on the seacoast. and Route 1B from Seabrook to Portsmouth.
The purpose of the study is to gather input from residents and
visitors to the corridor to shape a plan for protecting the corridor's
scenic, cultural and natural resources and addressing traffic
concerns, while accommodating tourism and recreation. The
study includes an extensive survey of visitors to the corridor, as
well as this survey of residents of coastal communities along the
Byway (Seabrook, Hampton, North Hampton, Rye, New Castle
and Portsmouth). By filling out and returning this survey, you will
be helping us identify issues to consider when developing
recommendations for the study.
Currently, Hampton is lacking in responses to this survey, and this
is your opportunity to have your voice heard.
Go to this link - it is not long or complicated and have Hampton's
voice represented in the future plans for this beautiful area.
