Town Gets Verdict on Overspending Today

Good morning, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five things you need to know for Monday, April 22:

1. Today's Top Thing: Town Administrator Paul Apple will inform the North Hampton Select Board at a 7 p.m. meeting whether the town is "trending toward" the "baseline" overexpenditure projections or if additional cuts will have to be made in the wake of overtime overspending issues.

3. What Else Is Happening Today? It's Earth Day, and April Vacation officially "kicks in" for local students today. Activities and camps begin today, along with a variety of other things. Also, an inspirational local woman begins her second round of specialized treatments for a traumatic brain injury, and Hampton selectmen will meet at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
