A special event, a variety of sports games, April Vacation activities, a movie and more are on tap.

1. Dance, Stretch and Zumba Your Way Through a Fun Celebration: There are a ton of free activities and classes throughout the day Saturday at Hampton Kat Dancin' Studio, which is hosting an open house in celebration of its one-year anniversary in downtown Hampton. .

2. Cheer on Local Sports Teams: The following is a list of this weekend's Winnacunnet High School games, according to the school's website:

3. Enjoy the Start of April Vacation: Many local students will be on break starting Friday afternoon, so take advantage of the warming weather and spare time in a fun way!
There are many activities and camps planned for the weekend and/or next week due to April Vacation, but please tell us more about what you have planned by posting in the comments section (it could let residents find activities they don't even know are happening).
4. See a Free Movie: Lane Memorial Library is hosting a free showing of the award-winning film "Lincoln" at 1 p.m. Friday.
5. Meet a Granite State Author: Celebrate the end of National Library Week with a special visit by adult and teen author Joseph Monninger at Lane Memorial Library at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
