Here are five outstanding organizations in the Hampton-North Hampton area. Please consider volunteering or donating to them for Giving Tuesday and beyond.
- St. Vincent de Paul of Hampton — St. Vincent de Paul of Hampton is part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization with a mission to serve individuals in need. The Hampton location provides a variety of community services, including a community kitchen, a clothes closet, a food pantry, advocacy support and provision of home medical supplies. - Hampton Community Coalition — The Hampton Community Coalition is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the welfare and health of children and families in the Hampton area, especially those pacing challenging life transitions or experiencing homelessness. The coalition provides essential support, including temporary shelter during the winter season, for local families in need. - North Hampton Public Library & Cultural Center (NHPL&CC) Foundation — The NHPL&CC Foundation works in collaboration with the North Hampton Public Library & Cultural Center, as well as the Friends of the North Hampton Public Library. - Seacoast Area Feline Education & Rescue (SAFER) — SAFER aims to help homeless cats across the New Hampshire Seacoast by humanely trapping, neutering, medically clearing, releasing and placing homeless cats. - The James House — The James House is dedicated to preserving the historical significance of the colonial house built in 1723, representing an early example of colonial architecture in New Hampshire. The organization offers preservation projects and programs that allow visitors to explore the 18th-century home and workshop of early craftsmen.
