Hampton Business That Made Big Staff Change Closed Thursday
A local business is "moving upward and onward" after firing one of its top creative minds, closing shop temporarily to perform work on its facility.

Blue Lobster Brewing Company, which earlier this week fired one of its top creative minds, won't open Thursday because owners are "taking the next few days and completely cleaning, organizing and rearranging the brewhouse and storage areas."
The Hampton brewery announced the news Wednesday afternoon on its Facebook page. The post, in which Blue Lobster says it is "moving upward and onward" and has "some surprises" coming, possibly as early as Friday, is featured above.
Blue Lobster parted ways with head brewer David Sakolsky on Monday morning. The decision, which wasn't Sakolsky's, led to significant social media outcries and complaints from fans of Sakolsky's beer.

Blue Lobster owner Mike Benoit hasn't returned calls seeking comment.
