Hampton Falls Cocaine Bust: Dealer Gets 3 Years
NH State Police said officers found Jose Almonte-Tejeda with 832 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop in Hampton Falls.

HAMPTON, NH -- A Massachusetts man was sentenced to three years in prison this week after he was found with nearly a kilogram of cocaine during a traffic stop in Hampton Falls in the spring. Jose Almonte-Tejeda, 40, of Lawrence, pleaded guilty to drug possession with intent to distribute.
Almonte-Tejeda was arrested April 27 after New Hampshire State Police pulled over his vehicle on Interstate 95 in Hampton Falls and found 832 grams of cocaine inside.
"We are committed to stopping the flow of illegal drugs into New Hampshire," said New Hampshire U.S. Attorney Scott Murray in a statement. "In order to protect the health and safety of our community, we will continue to work closely with New Hampshire State Police, DEA and all of our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who are bringing dangerous drugs into the Granite State."
