Hampton Man Arrested for TD, Provident Bank Robberies
Police also believe the man, who was already behind bars, was responsible for the Seabrook Provident Bank robbery.
A Hampton man has been apprehended on two counts of robbery in connection to a cluster of bank robberies on the Seacoast after police received a key tip about the cases.
Jason Pratt, 29, of Hampton, was already in custody at the Rockingham County House of Corrections due to an unrelated charge when Hampton police arrested him Wednesday, according to Lt. Dan Gidley.
Gidley said Pratt has been charged in connection to the April 3 robbery at Provident Bank and the April 20 robbery at TD Bank. Gidley said Pratt is also a suspect in the March 22 robbery at Provident Bank in Seabrook.

Detectives in the Hampton Police Department "worked all leads" in the cases, and Pratt's arrest comes as a result of this work, a tip, witness statements and evidence recovered from the scene, according to Gidley.
In the April 3 robbery, Pratt — dressed in a Navy blue hooded jacket and a baseball cap — allegedly didn't show a weapon and handed a teller a note demanding money before fleeing the bank.

The March 22 and April 20 robberies were committed in the same manner, although authorities recovered after the latter incident several items of clothing that Pratt allegedly left behind after fleeing into the nearby municipal parking lot.
The Rockingham County Sheriff's Department and Seabrook Police Department assisted Hampton in the investigation, which Gidley said is still open.
Police urged anyone with information on the bank robberies to call the Hampton Police Department at (603) 929-4444. Anonymous tips can be made
