Local residents will have a chance to provide input Thursday night on a controversial, 100-foot-tall contel project for Hampton Beach's A Block.
Hampton Zoning Board of Adjustment members have said they don't decide whether to approve a project until after a public hearing on any given project, during which there's a full project presentation as well as a public comment period.
The contel project's public hearing is scheduled for tonight's zoning board meeting, which starts at 7.
One beach group has already pulled a 180 and has decided to back the plan, which is for an eight-story, rental condominium building with 56-multi-family units and eight upscale retail stores on the burned down former site of the Surf Hotel and Happy Hampton Arcade.
