Judge Alters Bail for Seabrook Mom Who Forced Kids to Drink Bleach
Wendy Wright's $200,000 bail, or the conditions for her release, could be reduced following a court appearance Thursday.

Bail terms for a Seabrook mother accused of forcing her children to drink to bleach — which she did after telling them it was "medicine" — will soon be changed following a short hearing that was held in Rockingham Superior Court on Thursday, according to the Union Leader.
The Union Leader has reported that the new bail conditions haven't yet been made public, although prosecutors say they want "certain safety measures" that Wendy Wright's 7- and 6-year-old children will be "protected" should Wright be released on bail. Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams also told the Union Leader that they'll wait to "see whether there are legitimate mental health issues," which the defense has claimed, before any determination is made to upgrade Wright's charges.
Wendy Wright, 33, of 15 True Road in Seabrook, faces two counts of attempted first degree assault for forcing her children, both of which have since been released from the hospital, to drink bleach on June 18.
Wright also drank the bleach, and received treatment during a three-week hospital stay before she was charged with the felony counts.
