Local Cheerleader to Compete in Ireland
A Winnacunnet High School junior hopes to get a little luck of the Irish during a big upcoming overseas competition.

Ainsley Collins of Seabrook, a junior at Winnacunnet High School, has been named to East Celebrity Elite’s Team Ireland. Team Ireland was selected from level 5 athletes at ECE and will perform at the 21st Century Cheer Competition in Galway, Ireland November 9th and 10th.Team Ireland will perform during the competition at the National University and also have a question and answer period with Irish coaches and athletes.
Ainsley, an athlete at East Celebrity Elite in Tewksbury, MA, is a member of the medium all girl level 5, which begins its quest for another World bid in January. This season she is also a member of 4.2 as they attempt to defend their Summit Champion title. The Summit is a non-Worlds division ultimate championship. She is currently a member of the Varsity Football Cheer team.
Ainsley is the granddaughter of long-time successful Winnacunnet cheer coaches John & Barbara Donaldson of Hampton. As a freshman Ainsley was a member of the WHS varsity fall cheer squad and received the MVP award. That same year as a member of ECE’s J5 team she received the Coaches’ Award.

As a sophomore Ainsley was also a member of ECE’s small all girl level 3 team that beat out 52 other teams for level Grand Champions in Nashville on April 7th and in February won the NCA National All Star Championship bringing home the coveted black jacket.
