Marriott Murder Suspect Back in Court Wed.

An evidence hearing is scheduled for Kathryn McDonough, 19, of Portsmouth.

A Portsmouth woman charged with lying to police about the whereabouts of Seth Mazzaglia following the murder of Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott is due back in court on Wednesday.

WMUR reported that Kathryn McDonough, 19, is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth Circuit Court on Wednesday, Jan. 2, for an evidence hearing after she was arraigned on Wednesday in Derry District Court on charges of hindering apprehension or prosecution and conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension or prosecution.

According to police, McDonough lied to authorities when questioned about the whereabouts of Seth Mazzaglia, 30, of Dover, who is charged with the second-degree murder of Marriott, a University of New Hampshire student. Authorities continue to search the Piscataqua River near Peirce Island for Marriott's body.
