Newburyport Bank Donates $2,000 To My Breast Cancer Support

Newburyport Bank has donated $2,000 to My Breast Cancer Support as a sponsor of the Evening by the Sea Gala & Celebrate Pink 5K. The Gala will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye, NH. The 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2022.

My Breast Cancer Support partners with a number of hospitals and cancer centers in the Greater Seacoast area of NH/ME to provide support programs to their breast cancer patients. These programs include housing, auto expenses, groceries, and other expenses so that patients and families can focus on getting well.

“Continuing to fight breast cancer requires an enormous effort on so many fronts,” stated Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “It touches the lives of so many, and its effects can be cruel. Fortunately, the fight against this disease has remained in the public eye, and as a result many organizations and individuals have stepped up and joined the battle.
