Salem Girls, Milford Boys Place 1st At Nashua Tourney | Londonderry Sweeps At Bow Quad: NH Wrestling Roundup

Amherst, Bedford, Exeter, Hampton, Manchester, Merrimack, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Windham wrestlers compete in bouts around New England.

NASHUA, NH — Wrestlers from schools all around the Granite State battled in bouts around New England last weekend.

Here are some of the results.

Londonderry Sweeps 3 At Bow Quad

Bow hosted ConVal, Londonderry, and Souhegan for a quad on Saturday.

The Lancers swept the quad, beating ConVal handling but winning a squeaker against Bow, 40-32. Londonderry also beat Souhegan, 50-27. Souhegan beat ConVal, 70-12. Scores were not available for the bouts between Souhegan and Bow and Bow and ConVal.

Winning wrestlers in the Londonderry vs. Souhegan match included Anthony Cipolletta of Londonderry by tech fall in the 106, 15-0, Lennox DeLeon of Londonderry by tech fall, 17-1, and in the 120, Cam Roussell of Londonderry by tech fall, 18-3. In the 126, Owen Kostecki of Souhegan won by pin, Jack Kaler of Souhegan won 12-5 in the 132-pound category, and Landon Carson of Souhegan won by pin in the 138. Colin Egan of Londonderry won by pin in the 144, Caleb Holden of Londonderry in the 150 won by pin, and Brendan Egan of Londonderry in the 157 won by pin. In the 165, Patrick Casey of Souhegan pinned his opponent, Moqsid Rahmani of Londonderry won by pin in the 190, Liam Cronin of Londonderry won by tech fall 25-8, and Gabriel Holt of Souhegan won by pin in the 215. Jayden Mahlatini won by forfeit in the 285.

Against Bow, Cipolletta won by forfeit, Lennox DeLeon won 7-4, Roussell won by tech fall, 19-3, Shane Rablais of Bow won by tech fall, 16-0, in the 126, Gabriel Perez of Londonderry won by fall in the 132, and Ryan Dolder of Bow won by fall in the 138. Colin Egan won in the 144 by tech fall, 17-2, while Brendan Egan in the 157 and Sawyer Chaffee of Londonderry won by pins. Carter Geddes in the 175, Chase Flagg in the 190, and Kevin Mullen in the 215, all won by pins for Bow. In the 285, Hunter Hutchinson of Bow won, 11-5.

In the match versus ConVal, Londonderry won by forfeit five times. Cipolletta won by pin, as did Perez, Colin Egan, Holden, and Brendan Egan. Jorge Ribota of Londonderry won by pin in the 215, as did Mahlatini.

In the girls’ division, Salem placed first with 101 points, followed by Plymouth, Excel Academy, Goffstown, and Bedford. In the boys’ division, Milford placed first with 233.5 points, followed by Reading, Bishop Guertin, Hollis Brookline, Spaulding, Exeter, Bedford, and Nashua North. Windham came in ninth while South tied for 11th. Merrimack was 16th and Salem 17th.

Individual results featuring Patch community wrestlers included for the boys: Alex Weick of Windham, fifth, and Travis Schaufenbil of Salem, in sixth, at 106. Reid Grandmason in the 113 for Exeter was first, followed by Jackson Ella of Bedford in third and Arlo Press of Portsmouth in fifth. Elis Jones of Exeter was second in the 120, while Kiernan Lordan of Milford was third, and Craig Burge of Nashua South was sixth. In the 126, Max Hammerstrom of Milford was first, Sabastian Ochoa of North was second, Samuel Upham of Bedford was fourth, and Robert Signore of South was sixth. Hudson Berry of Exeter was second in the 132 while Cam Stickney of Milford was third. In the 138, Francisco Juvera was first, Liam McGrail of Windham was fourth, and Caleb Smith of North was fifth. In the 144, Henry Palmer of Windham was first, Calix Lajoie of Milford was second, and TaVyon Moore of North was fourth. Ryan Grandmason of Exeter was fifth and Rocco Ponzini sixth for Windham in the 150. Ben Byrne of South was first in the 157 while Phillip Wright of Milford was third, Cash Torres of Merrimack fourth, and Ethan Levesque of Bedford was fifth. In the 165, Jace Wilhelmi of Milford was fourth, and Gabe Bueno of Exeter was fifth. Jeremias Manuel of Portsmouth was third, Jack Clancy of Milford was fourth, and Avery Niemi of Exeter was sixth in the 175. In the 190, Gavin McConnell of Bedford placed first, while Elijah Wales of Milford came in third, and Cam Barrett of Portsmouth placed fifth. Ian McCubrey of South came in second in the 215 while Silas Heiser of Bedford came in third, Antonino Ciresi of Windham placed fourth, and Dan Gallagher of Portsmouth came in sixth. In the 285, Jameson Noble of Milford came in third while Cooper Seltsam-Whilps of Merrimack placed fifth and Mason Bracetty of South was sixth.

For the girls, Jenhedy Mendez placed third for Salem in the 100, Kallie Chandler of Salem came in first in the 107, while Yahi Bajpai of Bedford came in second, and Shaye Watson came in fourth for Windham. In the 114, Meury Navarrete of South came in fifth. In the 120, Grace Kenna of Bedford came in first. In the 126, Isabelle Boisvert of Bedford came in second, while Genevieve Snell of Windham came in fourth. Ganel Gotay of Salem came in first in the 132, while Audrey Shaw of Bedford came in second. Keira Lynch of Salem came in first in the 138 while Evana Wakiti of Portsmouth placed fourth. In the 145, Leila Garcia of Salem came in first, Ilnas Hussaini came in third for Portsmouth, and Amber Wong of South came in fourth. Suzana De Brito of Merrimack came in first in the 152 bracket. In the 165, Mya Coombs of Milford placed third, while Samatha Bennett of Windham came in fourth, Maya D’Eon came in fifth for Exeter, and Danielle Elnar of Merrimack placed sixth.

23 Schools Compete In Winnisquam Winter Classic

Winnisquam Regional High School hosted its annual tourney with wrestlers from nearly two dozen schools participating.

Timberlane placed first with 185.5 points, just 1.5 points ahead of Winnisquam. Plymouth placed third while Manchester West came in fourth.

Placing for West were Angel Diaz in the 106 coming in third, Saddrudin Zahid placing fifth in the 126, Samuel Cruz in the 132 coming in third, Colin Taylor coming in first in the 150, Anthony Digaetano coming in fourth in the 165, and Jayden Nartey coming in second in the 215.

Salem Wrestlers Battle In Coventry

The Blue Devils traveled to Rhode Island on Saturday for duals against four other schools.

Only results for the match against Bishop Hendricken High School were published. In those bouts, John Blocksidge in the 113 won, 7-2, and James Nelson, in the 285, won by pin.

Other Results

Timberlane sent wrestlers to the Big Red Duals in Pennsylvania, while Franklin sent wrestlers to the Eastern States Classic in New York. Pelham hosted a tournament in which wrestlers from Campbell High School participated. Wrestlers from Hillsboro, Hopkinton, Keene, Pelham, and John Stark Regional battled in bouts in the 2026 Dan Giornet Memorial Tournament.
