Police: Drunk Driver Had Two Kids in Her Car
Carrie Towne, 34, of North Hampton, was arrested after driving erratically with two children in her car.

A North Hampton woman is facing a drunk driving charge after police and a citizen in Newmarket witnessed her vehicle was all over the road while she had two children in her car, according to the Union Leader.
The Union Leader has reported that Carrie Towne, 34, of Pine Haven Motel, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated around 6 p.m. Friday on Route 108 in Newmarket. Towne allegedly had a 13 year old and an 8 year old in the vehicle at the time of her arrest, which came after the woman allegedly failed a series of field sobriety tests, according the paper.
Towne was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment in Brentwood District Court on May 7, according to the Union Leader. The Union Leader has reported that the DWI was elevated to an aggravated DWI charge because the children — who were released to a sober adult — were in the vehicle.
