Pedestrian Struck, Injured in Hit-And-Run
Police are seeking information in an early-morning accident that sent one person to the hospital.

A pedestrian was transported to the hospital early Sunday with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of Lafayette and Juniper roads in North Hampton.
North Hampton Police Sgt. Jim Russell said the pedestrian was hit around 12 a.m. Sunday while walking south along that portion of Lafayette Road. The call came in as a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian, although Russell said no additional information was available as of late Sunday night because the incident is still under investigation.
"There is very limited information to be released at this time pertaining to this incident due to it being an active investigation," said Russell in an e-mail.
