Restaurant Week Brings a Plethora of Special Options Today
An annual business event, a child cancer charity-focused beer tasting, a free movie, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey and more lead the Five Things You Need to Know Today.

Good morning, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five things you need to know for Thursday, April 4:
1. Restaurant Week Begins Today: The 401 Tavern and Bontá are among the local eateries participating in Portsmouth and the Seacoast Restaurant Week 2013. More information available here.

2. Today’s Featured Fun: Lane Memorial Library is hosting a free showing of the award-winning film "Les Misérables" at 5 p.m.
3. What Else Is Happening Today? The Community Oven, which recently hit , will host a beer-tasting night with seven New England breweries from 5 p.m. to close. The event will raise money for Massachusetts General Hospital's Pediatric Oncology Clinic.

Also, Winnacunnet High School students will take the Youth Risk Behavior Survey this morning, the North Hampton Heritage Commission will meet at 10 a.m. in the Town Clerk's Office, the Hampton 375th Committee will meet at 4 p.m. at Town Hall, and it's Incoming Kindergarten Info Night at 6 p.m. at Centre School.
4. This Day in History: Just after 6 p.m. on this day in 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was fatally shot while standing on the balcony outside his second-story room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tenn.
The civil rights leader was in Memphis to support a sanitation workers' strike and was on his way to dinner when a bullet struck him in the jaw and severed his spinal cord. King was pronounced dead after his arrival at a Memphis hospital. He was 39 years old.
