School District Thanks Community for Support

The Hampton School Board is thanking voters for approving the budget and several big warrant articles.

The Hampton School Board wishes to extend our gratitude for the continued support the community has given to the schools in SAU 90. All of us appreciate the financial commitment that has been made by the community.

In addition to the passage of a budget warrant article for the 2013-14 school year, the community supported the costs for a small addition (2 rooms) at Centre School. This project will provide appropriate space for our Preschool Program as well as suitable classroom space and storage.

We all recognize the responsibility of insuring excellence in education and the goal of success for all children. We take this job of educating and providing a safe and secure environment very seriously. The task that we were elected to do is made easier because of the support and confidence the town has shown to the school district.
