A longtime North Hampton public official will look to regain a seat on the town's Select Board this March in a race with incumbent Selectman Phil Wilson.
Rick Stanton, a former selectman who is currently the vice chairman of the North Hampton Budget Committee, has formally filed paperwork along with Wilson for Wilson's three-year seat on the board.
Stanton has one year remaining on his budget committee term. He had sought a return to the board in 2011 when Jon Rineman resigned in May of that year, although Larry Miller was chosen to fill that seat.
A total of 10 individuals have filed for candidacy in North Hampton as of Friday morning, including three individuals for a two-seat race on the town's Zoning Board.

Lee said North Hampton Budget Committee Chairwoman Margaret Allen, Planning Board Vice Chairwoman Laurel Pohl, Treasurer Barbara Dewing, North Hampton Public Library Trustee Chairwoman Kelly Parrott, and Supervisor of the Checklist Hope Miller have also all filed their candidacy paperwork.
