Who Won the 2013 Hampton Firefighters Chili Cook-Off?

One of the biggest parts of the annual charity event is the stiff competition and the battle for "best chili" bragging rights.

One of the biggest parts of the annual Hampton Firefighters Chili Cook-Off, which was highly successful and raised about $2,000 Thursday night, is the stiff competition to take home a trophy and some lofty bragging rights.

The following are the winners from the event, which featured 25 chili dishes Thursday and benefited the Hampton Firefighters Toy Bank:

PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY:

  • First place: Savory Square Bistro
  • Second place: TNT Subs
  • Third place: 401 Tavern

INDIVIDUAL/NON-PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY:
  • First place: Matthew McSheehy of the Reading, Mass., Fire Department
  • Second place: Bill Pain
  • Third place: Heidi Gannon
