CANDIA, NH — An early-morning crash on Route 101 left four people injured, resulting in the closing of Route 101 eastbound in Candia for several hours Tuesday.

New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Route 101 east in Candia at about 3:15 a.m. A preliminary investigation indicated the driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the median. The car struck a raised rock cutout, dividing the eastbound and westbound lanes, and subsequently rolled over multiple times, according to state police. After the vehicle came to rest in the middle of the eastbound lanes, it was sideswiped by another vehicle, a Dodge Durango SUV, whose driver was unable to see the disabled Camry in the roadway.
