Woman Tricked Store Into Refunding Items She Never Bought
A local woman faces another felony after authorities claimed she returned multiple items — items she never bought — to North Hampton Home Depot.

A convicted felon has been indicted on a new felony theft by deception charge for allegedly tricking the North Hampton Home Depot into giving her a refund for items she never purchased.
Tammy Marshall, 47, of Seabrook, was recently indicted on a Class B felony for returning multiple cans of paint that she never actually paid for, according to the indictment.
Marshall, who was convicted in Rockingham Superior Court in June 2012 on two felony theft by deception charges, received an undisclosed amount of cash from the Home Depot cashier as a result of the transaction, which occurred on July 23.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt or conviction; rather, it means a grand jury believed there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
