Baldasaro Backs Exploration of Keno in NH

The Londonderry lawmaker wants revenue from the lottery games to go toward public schools.

The Eagle-Tribune reported this week that a Londonderry lawmaker is backing the exploration of keno lottery games in New Hampshire.

According to the paper, State Rep. Al Baldasaro, R-Londonderry, is behind House Bill 520, which asks for a committee to study the issue. Baldasaro told the newspaper that he'd like to see keno go into bars and restaurants, with the revenue going toward public schools. Massachusetts already has keno, he said, and New Hampshire is losing millions of dollars to the neighboring state.
