Concord High School Crimson Tide Wrestlers Crash Into Londonderry Lancers, 54-16

Five Concord wrestlers won by pin and two won by tech fall, while two Londonderry wrestlers won by falls on Thursday night.

LONDONDERRY — Crimson Tide wrestlers traveled to Londonderry to face the Lancers and came away with a big win.

The varsity matches started out with Jakob Manseau of Concord High School, in the 190-pound category, facing off against Blake Buttle of Londonderry High School. Manseau later won by pin. Isaiah Puckett of Concord beat Brandon Dyer in the 215 by tech fall, 16-1. Wayne Gutierrez Sakakeeny of Concord, in the 285 bracket, pinned Jayden Mahlatini, and Concord’s Biswas Darji, who wrestles in the 106-pound bracket, also won by tech fall, 18-2.

Londonderry then came back with two wins by the DeLeon brothers.

Lennox, who wrestles in the 113 class, pinned Dawsen Nedeau, while Lucas, who is in the 120, won by major decision against Khai Jawitz, 12-0.

Concord then won the next four bouts: Dominic Schinella in the 126 pinned Jackson Butcher; Owen Gregg won in a nailbiting 5-4 decision against Gabriel Perez in the 132; Ramon Reynolds in the 138 pinned Anthony Balfour in the 138; and with seconds on the clock, Jaxon Carter a point to win, 8-7, in the 144 against Colin Egan.

Caleb Holden of Londonderry then pinned Daniel Sheehan in the 150.

Concord won the next three matches: Leonardo Chung of Concord in the 157 won 10-7 against Brendan Egan, while Ryley Holt, in the 165, bested Sawyer Chaffer Chaffe in the 165, and Max Chung won for Concord in the 175 by pinning Liam Cronin.

Concord had a point deducted from its final score due to coach’s misconduct.

JV wrestlers also had 20 matches. Concord wrestlers winning bouts included Kayden Blackler, Cody Daigle, Caleb Knowlton, AJ Sevigny, Maddox Hoover, Alique Valeras, Nolan Levesque, Elijah Lelievre, Devin Rivera, and Kase Cederberg. Amaury Rosario won two bouts.

Londonderry JV wrestlers winning bouts included Jorge Ribota, Jack Perrin, Aaron Braley, Anthony Balfour, and Logan Marion. Moqsid Rahmani won three bouts for the Lancers.
