• Concord High School Crimson Tide Wrestlers Crash Into Londonderry Lancers, 54-16 (patch.com) — Londonderry wrestling fans saw the hometown Lancers host Concord High in a hard-fought dual that ended in a 54-16 Crimson Tide victory. Several Londonderry wrestlers, including the DeLeon brothers and Caleb Holden, delivered strong wins, while both varsity and JV athletes from Londonderry gained valuable experience against a deep Concord lineup.
   

• 'Paint tax' bill heads to Ayotte's desk (unionleader.com) — Londonderry residents may soon pay a small fee on paint and stain purchases if Gov. Kelly Ayotte signs a statewide “paint tax” recycling bill that narrowly passed the Senate. Local Sen. Sharon Carson opposed the measure, arguing it adds an unnecessary cost, while supporters say it will save cities and towns money on hazardous waste collection and improve paint recycling.
   

• Wachusett girls' basketball team hangs championship banner, rolls past Leominster (telegram.com) — Londonderry’s girls’ basketball team handed Wachusett its only loss so far this season back on Dec. 20, but the Mountaineers have since bounced back with four straight wins and a dominant night against Leominster. Wachusett celebrated last year’s Division 1 state title by raising a championship banner, then rode a smothering defense and strong post play to a 65-29 victory.
