Funeral Held for 8-Year-Old Killed in Boston Bombing
The boy was laid to rest at a private ceremony Tuesday morning.
Martin Richard, the youngest of the victims killed in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, has been laid to rest.
NECN.com reports parents Denise and Bill Richard had a private burial service and funeral for the boy Tuesday morning, and thanked the public for its support.
“The outpouring of love and support over the last week has been tremendous. This has been the most difficult week of our lives and we appreciate that our friends and family have given us space to grieve and heal,” the parents said in a statement on NECN.com.
