As the first day of school gets set to arrive tomorrow, the school district has made it clear on their website that specific immunizations are required for students in the wake of last spring's Pertussis outbreak.
According to a letter addressed to parents earlier this month, children who do not meet the RSA requirements will not be allowed to attend school.
The letter indicates that if the initial program of immunization for a child is in process with documented scheduled appointments, a 30-day extension may be granted.
The letter provides specific immunization details and a copy of the JHCB immunization policy. For more information, visit here.
