Man Arrested for Drug Possession Near Aviation Museum

The following are excerpts from the Londonderry police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

AUGUST 23, 2013

9:09 a.m. 
Daniel Miron, 27, of 76 Farmwood in Nashua, N.H. is arrested on Airport Road and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and reckless operation.

Miron's bail was set at $2,000 personal recognizance plus the $40 bail commissioner's fee. He is now scheduled to be arraigned at Derry District Court on Sept. 16 at 8:15 a.m.

2:11 p.m. Caller advised there was a subject on a bicycle on Commons Drive who appeared to be intoxicated. Police could not locate the subject.

2:30 p.m. Attempted suicide is reported on Quincy Road. Subject was located by Mass. State Police, who advised he was being transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

7:51 p.m. Burglary is reported on Hovey Road.

9:53 p.m. Matthew James Covatis, 22, of 5 Timberwood Drive Apt. 301 in Goffstown, N.H. is arrested on Navigator Road and charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and possession of drugs (in a motor vehicle).

Covatis' bail was set at $2,500 cash, which he was unable to post. He was subsequently transported to Rockingham County Jail to await arraignment in the Derry District Court on Aug. 26 at 8:15 a.m.
