Manchester Police Investigate Seven People Shot In Six Days
Two men face charges: Matthew Gagne, 21, was accused of falsifying evidence; Rafael Pamphile, 34, was accused of criminal threatening.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting investigation on West Street on Wednesday.
Manchester police, fire, and AMR Ambulance responded to West Street for a report of shots fired and a gunshot victim at about 1:25 p.m. Police say an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg and transported by AMR ambulance to a local hospital. Police say the man's injury is non-life-threatening.
All of the involved parties have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Manchester police detectives arrested Matthew Gagne, 21, of Manchester and have charged him with Falsifying Physical Evidence related to this incident.

Also on Wednesday, police arrested a man in a different shooting incident.
Police said they were made aware of an incident on Friday in the city in which a subject reportedly brandished a firearm during an argument with another individual.
"Shortly thereafter, witnesses reported hearing what appeared to be a gunshot," police said. "During the course of this investigation, possible suspect information was developed."
Rafael Pamphile, 34, was taken into custody without incident on a warrant pursuant to this investigation. He was charged with criminal threatening, reckless conduct, and armed career criminal, all felonies. A probation/parole hold was additionally placed on him.
