MANCHESTER, NH — A Londonderry woman crashed into a tractor-trailer Monday morning on Interstate 93 in Manchester, forcing officials to close down the highway, police said. Gena Handlowich, 29, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck on the northbound side of the highway at about 8:50 a.m. when she changed lanes, lost control, hit a guardrail then crashed into a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 64-year-old Allenstown man, according to New Hampshire State Police Lieutenant Bryan Trask.Handlowich suffered an arm injury and was pulled from her truck by first responders and hospitalized, Trask said in a statement. The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.
