New Hampshire State Police said a Londonderry woman crashed into a guardrail then a tractor-trailer on Interstate 93 in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Londonderry woman crashed into a tractor-trailer Monday morning on Interstate 93 in Manchester, forcing officials to close down the highway, police said. Gena Handlowich, 29, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck on the northbound side of the highway at about 8:50 a.m. when she changed lanes, lost control, hit a guardrail then crashed into a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 64-year-old Allenstown man, according to New Hampshire State Police Lieutenant Bryan Trask.

Handlowich suffered an arm injury and was pulled from her truck by first responders and hospitalized, Trask said in a statement. The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.

A section of the northbound side of the highway was closed for about two hours as crews cleaned up the scene.
