Town Issues Library Closings Update

1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Today will see isolated thunderstorms and a high of 81. Tonight there will be partly cloudy skies and a low of 59.

2. UPDATED LIBRARY CLOSINGS: Due to a change in the HVAC installation schedule, the  Leach Library will now be open regular hours today but closed on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Thursday, Sept. 5.  Town officials have advised the closure during the installation. The library plans to be open during regular hours on Friday, Sept. 6 at 10:00 a.m. This schedule may change due to unforeseen circumstances. 

3. VIEW THE LIST OF PSNH UNDERGROUND CABLE PROJECTS: PSNH projects are underway in Londonderry. The town has provided a list of the projects, including their status as of mid-August.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The American Revolution officially comes to an end when representatives of the United States, Great Britain, Spain and France sign the Treaty of Paris on this day in 1783. The signing signified America's status as a free nation, as Britain formally recognized the independence of its 13 former American colonies, and the boundaries of the new republic were agreed upon: Florida north to the Great Lakes and the Atlantic coast west to the Mississippi River.
