We’re back and excited to be reunited. Families in Transition (FIT) proudly holds its 29th Annual Breakfast fundraiser on Tuesday, November 22, in support of people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the Granite State. This charitable kickoff to the holiday giving season draws hundreds every year to downtown Manchester on behalf of families and individuals in need. It is FIT’s largest fundraising event of the year.

The event will kick off in-person for the first time in three years at the Doubletree by Hilton in Manchester, NH at 7:00 A.M.
The funds raised from the 29th Annual Breakfast support various Families in Transition programs including emergency shelters for individuals and families, affordable and supportive housing to people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness, food programs that provide hunger relief, and essential supportive services. This event comes at a critical time for FIT; donations overall are down following the pandemic, but the need continues to rise within the greater Manchester community. For example, demand at the food pantry has more than doubled in the last 12 months.

“The need for our programs and essential services continues to be significant, and this event plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we can continue to support the community we serve,” said Maria Devlin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Families in Transition. “The way our community partners with Families in Transition gives us great inspiration and hope that people will once again join us to celebrate the amazing work of this organization and to provide much-needed support of efforts to meet the needs of those most vulnerable in our communities.”
The Annual Breakfast is presented by Cogswell Benevolent Trust, which helps to greatly offset the costs of the event. This year, FIT is honored to also receive support from key sponsors and partners, including our Thanks for Giving Sponsor, AutoFair, and Community Partner Sponsor Spectrum Marketing Companies.
