Here are the top stories today in Manchester:
- Manchester police responded to the report of a fight at 334 Union Street Monday at about 6 p.m., but instead of finding people fighting, they saw a man fleeing from the area. Police ordered the man to stop, but he continued running. Police followed him into a store and arrested him after a struggle. Police said they found a gun in his open bag. (Manchester Ink Link)
- Honor Flight New England sent 25 local veterans from the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport to Washington, D.C. last weekend. This local organization provides flights to visit the war memorials in Washington D.C. for local veterans who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam at no cost to them. - Have you bought your tickets for this year's performance of The Nutcracker at the Palace Theatre? The Nutcracker returns to the stage from Nov. 18-20. The Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater will transport you to a Christmas party in 19th century Germany. Enjoy the magical story and Tchaikovsky's stirring music. (The Palace Theatre)
