- The New Hampshire Attorney's General said they have new evidence in the investigation of the Harmony Montgomery case. The seven-year-old Manchester girl who was been missing since October 2019, "has been the subject of an extensive, multi-month search investigation." Investigators narrowed the window of Harmony Montgomery's disappearance "to 12 days in 2019" — a time when the family was living in cars in Manchester. A $144,000 reward is being offered for information about her disappearance. Anyone who may have information is asked to call the Manchester Police Department's 24-hour tip line dedicated to her case at 603-203-6060. (Manchester Patch)
- The East Wing of Manchester's historic City Hall building was closed Wednesday, Aug. 10, to repair drainage issues. Offices impacted included the City Clerk, Ordinance Violations, Finance Department, Economic Development and the Mayor’s Office. Departments in the West Wing, including Tax Collector, Assessor's Office, City Solicitor, Human Resources and Planning & Community Development, remained open. - Police are investigating the "untimely death" of an adult male, after his body was found in Nutt's Pond on Tuesday. The body of a deceased male was found in the water around 9:10 a.m. with Marine Patrol, Manchester Fire, and the NH Medical Examiner at the scene. Authorities are asking residents to stay away from the area, "as it is an active and ongoing investigation." (Manchester Ink Link)
- Expect traffic delays Thursday. The Cigna Road Race will be on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 6:20 p.m. in the areas of Elm and Canal Streets. Expect delays! (Manchester.gov)
