- A Manchester woman has been linked to the German raid of a suspected nerve agent facility. Former Manchester resident Stela Sacara, 36, also known as Stela Secara and Stela Thomas pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about having ties to Riol-Chemie last year. Scare was involved with several export firms that allegedly sent materials to the company. Executives at Riol-Chemie are suspected of exporting "toxic substances" and "special laboratory material" to Russia more than 30 times over the past three and a half years without the proper permits, according to the German news program Tagesschau. - Two water line breaks caused a large section of the road to collapse in Manchester Wednesday morning. The largest break happened at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Amory Street, and the second break occurred at Notre Dame Avenue and Wayne Street, city officials said. The area of the break is closed off to drivers. Manchester Fire officials said they expected roads in the area to be closed for about 12 hours. Businesses in the area are open, but cars in the closed-off area between Amory and Wayne streets can't be moved "until the road is deemed safe," officials said. (WMUR)
- What's happening at The Hill Bar & Grille? The Union Leader Gourmet stopped by the fairly new Manchester eatery and noted that the Hill "brings summer food and fun to McIntyre Ski Area." The Hill Bar & Grille opens after the ski season ends. The first summer they opened was on July 2020. It's a place where you can "grab a burger and a beer, enjoy the picturesque view, play cornhole and listen to music," the reviewer noted.
