At the same time, Manchester school leaders report new tariffs have added $12,000 to the cost of four Canadian-made buses, squeezing district resources that could have gone to classrooms.

• No bail for Manchester doctor accused of sexually assaulting patient (wmur.com) — A Manchester physician is being held without bail after pleading not guilty to felony charges alleging he inappropriately touched a young female patient and falsified medical records. Manchester police say the arrest followed a months-long investigation, and regulators have previously issued temporary suspensions of his medical license while they review separate concerns.
   

• Giving during the holidays is a family tradition for these Manchester, Bedford kids (unionleader.com) — Families from Manchester and Bedford are teaching their kids to give back by donating toys at the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop off Brown Avenue in Manchester. Their efforts support the Union Leader Santa Fund, which helps fund Salvation Army programs for local children year-round.
