1. Lawyers are discussing a plea deal for Kayla Montgomery that may come as soon as Friday. Kayla Montgomery is facing charges after admitting in June that her husband, convicted felon Adam Montgomery, killed his 5-year-old daughter (Kayla's stepdaughter) in December 2019. "Hillsborough County Superior Court Northern District, Senior Assistant Attorney General Jess O’Neill and defense attorney Paul Garrity both asked Judge Amy Messer at a disposition hearing for more time to reach a possible agreement."
