  1. Manchester turned out in large numbers for music, food, and an amazing fireworks display at Sky Show on Saturday. Thank you, Manchester Police, for keeping traffic moving around Arms Park and keeping everyone safe Saturday as people streamed in to listen to music, sample items from food trucks, and stayed for a booming fireworks display that lit up the Manchester sky and Merrimack River at about 9:15 a.m. The family event, returning after a 10 year break, had tight security and a heavy police presence. When the park reached capacity, people politely waited until people left before entering the park. (Manchester Ink Link)
  2. If your tire has recenlty hit a pot hole in Manchester or you find yourself driving on bumpy paved roads, smothers driving is on the way. The Manchester Council approved $928K in emergency asphalt road paving bids from outside contractors to help catch up on paving work that stalled during two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. (Manchester Patch)
  3. Lottery players are happy that the New Hampshire Lottery website is up and running again after a recent cyberattack. Lottery officials issued an alert Friday warning people not to click on any pop-up windows on the New Hampshire Lottery website, and took the website office. In a statement to WMUR, officials said "Our players' security and integrity of our web platform is our primary concern." (WMUR)
