- Do you like aviation, youth leadership, and serving your community? If this sounds like you, and you are between the ages of 12 and 18, check out the Civil Air Patrol. Learn about "cadet training, leadership development, orientation flying, summer activities, academic scholarships" and more on Thursday, Sept 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Londonderry North Elementary School on 19 Sanborn Road. Adult leaders will be on hand to answer your questions. Parents are welcome! Anyone 12 to 18 years old can join the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol. (Manchester Patch)
- Police are looking for additional victims recorded on camera in a Florida bathroom allegedly hidden by a New Hampshire man. Dana Caruso is accused of placing a hidden camera hidden in a false smoke detector in a Sanibel Florida public bathroom. Police have identified 22 of the 55 victims on 270 minutes of video recordings. This wasn't Caruso's first offense. Last year he pleaded guilty to charges that he filmed someone in a changing room at the Summer Sessions Surf Shop in Rye. (Subscription/The Union Leader)
- Way to go, Mayor Joyce Craig! Today, the mayor announced that her office will be a drop-off location for the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge. The Mayor's office is on the third floor of at City Hall, at 1 City Hall Plaza. The holiday card program was started in 2017 by Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber to bring "personalized, signed expressions of respect, caring and gratitude to deployed U.S. troops." Everyone is encouraged to send a card to let our military know we are thinking of them over the holidays. Cards have to be in by Nov. 18. Let's go, Manchester!
