5 Great Things to Do This Weekend, May 4-5
There's plenty going on in New Hampshire this weekend. Check out these suggestions.

1. Seedling giveaway. On Saturday, May 4, from 9-11 a.m. the Merrimack Conservation Commission will have its annual seedling giveaway. Seedlings are free to Merrimack residents. The giveaway will take place at Currier Orchards at 9 Peaslee Road in Merrimack. This is a first-come first-served event. No reservations in advance will be taken. It is usually a popular event so please plan to come early. There is plenty of parking at the Orchard. Read more about what's available here.
2. Kitties! Treasures Antiques, Collectables & MORE! in Amherst will host their annual Kitty Angels Fundraiser/Flea Market and Adoption Days this weekend. Over 130 vendors are expected this year. Also included is a fun petting zoo, 2 live bands, The New England Brethren of Pirates and fundraising raffles with multiple and various prizes. Kitty Angels, Inc., is a non-profit, charitable corporation where all donations are fully tax-deductible and every penny of every donation is used in the caring of cats. They are a no-kill cat shelter made up of all unpaid volunteers, and are dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned cats and furnishing them with treatment for injuries or other health issues. With all that’s done, the money runs out but the cats don’t. This is one event you won’t want to miss. Maybe, you can adopt a new forever-friend as well.
