5 Things: Architecture Firm Proposes Trampoline Bridge
Grab your breakfast and catch up on this morning's news and notes.

Here are five things you should know as you start your Friday.
1. That's... bouncy. A bridge design contest in Paris has turned up a very unique idea for pedestrians seeking a little adventure to cross the Seine, a trampoline bridge. According to a brief on Huffington Post, the bridge would be made of PVC pipes filled with 130,000 cubic feet of air, and mesh trampolines spanning the 100-foot waterway gap. Sounds creative and fun, if not improbable.
2. WOW! Check out this piece on a sister Patch site in Suisun City, Calif., about a meteor that hit on Wednesday, Oct. 17. A scientist said the meteor was likely the size of a car when it broke up over the Bay Area. The picture above depicts the meteor as it streaked across the sky like a fireball.
